There are plenty of activities to keep the kids amused locally too. Agnew Park in Stranraer is ideal with its pedal boats, train rides, adventure playground and crazy golf. And there's a superb 18 hole putting green in Portpatrick too - and a lovely little 9 hole short golf course perfect for beginners and budding Tiger Woods. But it's our private beach that really hits the spot.

We regret that children under 12 are not allowed in our fine dining restaurant in the evenings Instead, we serve a childrens' special 'gourmet' high tea for the under 12's.
