We accept £ sterling, $ and Euro, travellers cheques (us$, sterling and Euros) for a 10% handling charge, Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Switch, Solo, Electron, . All cheques require to be accompanied by a valid bank card. We are happy to arrange account facilities for corporate customers

24 local doctor/medical service available nearby. Dentist within 5 miles.

Pets
Well behaved dogs of any kind are welcome, subject to a charge of £10. Can they please bring their own bedding. Dogs are not allowed in any of the public areas (except for guide dogs)

Disabled
Ramp accessible front door. Easy access to bars and public rooms, but all bedrooms are on the first and second floors

We cater for just about any special diets, but advance notice is preferred. Vegetarian options are available at all times in our lounges and restaurant

Children and families
Children of all ages are welcome.
Children under 12 are not allowed in the dining room after 7.00pm. for younger children we serve high tea between 5.30 and 6.30

Cots and high chairs are available. We do not have baby listening facilities.

Packed and picnic meals
Packed lunch menus are available – must be ordered by 21.00 the previous evening. Gourmet packed lunches with champagne, smoked salmon &c are also available

What is and is not included in price
All quoted prices are inclusive of VAT at the ruling rate. There is no service charge.. Gratuities are at the customers’ discretion

How to get there
From Glasgow Airport
Take the M8 eastbound towards Glasgow to Exit 24 and follow the signs for the M77 and Kilmarnock.

If coming from Glasgow
Take M8 westbound to Exit 22 and follow M77 and then A77 towards Kilmarnock. Follow the A77 through Ayr to Stranraer. As you enter Stranraer, watch for sign A77 Portpatrick. Follow A77 towards Portpatrick, you will pass through the small village of Lochans. From the resume speed signs on the western outskirts of Lochans, proceed 1.9 miles, watch for 2 large signs on the right hand side of the road, one for Colfin Smokehouse and the other for Knockinaam Lodge, take next turning on the left and proceed past the smokehouse for 3 miles.

Knockinaam is signposted at each intersection. Entrance to Knockinaam is .4 of a mile past the third directional sign and is on the left indicated by 2 small signs on our fence opposite Glencroft.

Champagne, chocolates, flowers, roses, Madonna’s piper, a serenade!! Four poster rooms. Many rooms have queen and king sized beds. Celebration cakes, gourmet packed lunches. Scottish, continental or champagne breakfast in bed by arrangement.
