Accessible information

The hotel has one step access, and the public areas are all accessible. There are no ground floor bedrooms.

Cancellation policy

Standard Cancellation Policy: outwith 14 days prior to the day of arrival there will be no charge. Within 14 days of arrival we reserve the right to charge the full value of the reservation.

Car parking

Free onsite car parking for up to 20 cars.

Check out 11.00am

Children and families

A limited number of family rooms are available.

Children 18 months and under sleep and eat breakfast for free. Children 18 months to 11 years are charged £60 per child per night inclusive of high tea at 6pm and breakfast when sharing a room with two adults. Children aged 12 and over are charged £130 per child per night inclusive of dinner and breakfast when sharing a room with two adults.

Cots and high chairs are available free of charge.

Currency and credit cards

The hotel accepts payments made by cash (Sterling only), and most major credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express). The hotel is unable to accept personal or travellers cheques.

Advance payment may be made by any of the aforementioned methods or by bank transfer. Please contact the hotel finance department for details.

Electric vehicle charging point

We have 6 electric charging points available for our overnight guests’ use.

Hotel business hours

The hotel is open from 8am until 11pm. We do not provide a night porter service. Arrivals are preferred before 11pm as the hotel will be locked after this time. Please contact the hotel reception if you think you may arrive late.

Mobile phone network and Wi-Fi

There is currently no mobile reception for any network at the hotel or surrounding area for approximately 1 mile. Free Satellite Wi-Fi is available within the hotel.

Helicopter landing pad (Helipad)

We are pleased to offer our hotel helipad services to our visitors to book, simply get in touch to to book your landing to ensure a smooth experience from lift-off to landing. Find out more about our helicopter landing pad here.

Online policy for debit cards

Credit cards are accepted as a form of guarantee and payment online. Unfortunately, debit cards cannot be used online but can be used as payment to settle your bill on departure.

Packed and picnic meals

Packed lunches & picnics are available. These need to be ordered a day in advance.

Pets

We allow pets by arrangement in some of rooms (namely Glen, South & Churchill), see here, and guide dogs are permitted in the hotel. Dogs are charged at £30.00 per stay.

Service charge

Gratuities are at the customers’ discretion.

Smoking policy

Knockinaam Lodge is committed to providing it’s guests and associates with a smoke free environment. All bedrooms, public areas and functions rooms are non smoking.

Special diets

The hotel caters for just about any special diet, but advance notice is required.

Special occasions

If you’re celebrating one during your stay…. we can make it a memorable experience.
Reception are happy to assist with arranging any of the following in advance to make your stay extra special – champagne, chocolates, flowers, celebration cakes, etc.

There are numerous walks from the hotel and so many activities to do. Please contact us before arrival if you need any advice or wish to book an activity.
