Outdoor dining at Knockinaam

Overlooking the Irish Sea along our own private coastline, The Cove at Knockinaam Lodge is a fantastic way to enjoy the best of what our region has to offer.

Open all year round, you can make the most of the beautiful summer weather or cosy up in front of the log burner during the winter months. From roasts and grills to paella with seafood sourced on our doorstep, we have a fantastic selection of local produce and offer a rotating luxury outdoor BBQ main course option during the summer.

A BBQ like no other

With fresh vegetables, fruit and herbs from our very own hotel garden alongside meat and seafood sourced from local suppliers, we aim to create a delicious and sustainable dining experience for all of our guests. Chef Tony Pierce and the kitchen team at Knockinaam Lodge work with seasonal ingredients which means that no two dining experiences are the same. View our Seasonal BBQ Sample Menu.

The Cove is open to hotel guests and visitors alike, so you can enjoy our fabulous views and delicious menu whenever you like. Our Kamado-Style Ceramic Charcoal Barbecue Cooker, or ‘Big Green Egg’ as it’s affectionately known, is a brilliant way to experience the sustainable produce we offer here at Knockinaam Lodge, and there’s always the option to treat yourself to a couple of cocktails as well!
