Our Gourmet Weekend with a difference, in association with Dunnet Bay Distillers

Friday 24th & Saturday 25th November.

Arrive and relax by the roaring fire before our early evening wine tasting. Our Resident wine expert, Ian Matthews, of Corney & Barrow Fine Wines, will be on hand to share his amazing knowledge and talk about the wines specifically selected to match Chef Tony’s decadent Game themed food offering for the Saturday evening. As a group we will decide the wines to compliment Saturday evenings tasting dinner. Dinner at leisure on the first night.

The perfect special break

Wake to a hearty Knockinaam breakfast before some leisure time. In the afternoon the Kitchen Brigade host a cookery demonstration, including our famed ingredient recognition quiz, with prizes for the winners.

Tony, his Sous Chef, Ewan, Juniour Sous Chris and Apprentice Chef Findlay will demonstrate intricate cooking techniques showcasing the finest local ingredients, many coming straight from the Knockinaam Garden.

Our evening starts with a fantastic Gin, Vodka & Rum tasting. Charlie Wilson, Brand Ambassador for Dunnet Bay Distillers; home of the iconic Rock Rose Gin, will talk you through the tasting. Chef will be on had with canapes followed by a 6-course tasting menu with the paired wines.
