Chocolate Gourmet Weekend at Knockinaam Lodge

Friday 18th & Saturday 19th October 2024

Join us at Knockinaam Lodge for a Gourmet Weekend dedicated to showcasing the incredible versatility of chocolate which pairs with and complements so many dishes like Venison and Squab to name but two.

Immerse Yourself in a Weekend of Wine, Chocolate, and Culinary Excellence

Arrive on Friday 18th and relax by a roaring fire before joining Master of Wine Ian Matthews of Corney & Barrow and General Manager Des Caldwell for a wine-tasting during which we will select as a group the wines which we feel best compliment the menu which Head Chef Tony Pierce has written for the Saturday evening. After the wine tasting, you are free to enjoy dinner and the rest of the evening at your leisure.

On Saturday 19th wake to a hearty full-Scottish Breakfast and perhaps a stroll within our extensive grounds or along the beach before joining a demonstration of how to make truffles by our Pastry Chef Chris Kay. The afternoon will also include our famed ingredient recognition quiz, with prizes for the winners.

A Champagne reception with canapés precedes a 7 – course tasting menu with paired wines in the evening.
