A sense of well being – Relax & Restore at Knockinaam
We at Knockinaam Lodge have created a 2 night break to help you restore your inner calm and relax as you enjoy our hospitality and the stunning outdoors provided by this secluded location, away from it all with private beach and 30 acres of land to peacefully roam.
The South West of Scotland has an abundance of wildlife and activities to enjoy
There’s deer watching in the autumn; barnacle geese and whooper swans in the winter; red kite and osprey in the spring and summer or how about seal spotting?
We are also blessed with a unique climate in South West Scotland, as the Gulf stream keeps us warmer than other parts of the country. Our palm fringed west coast, to the secluded walled gardens further east offer beautiful places to visit and take in the flora and fauna.
Visiting one of the many beautiful gardens in Dumfries and Galloway is a relaxing and inspirational experience. Logan Botanic Garden is unrivalled as Scotland’s most exotic garden with a remarkable collection of unusual plants from the Southern Hemisphere; Castle Kennedy is world famous for rhododendrons; Threave Gardens at Castle Douglas is a magnificent space to explore; and the gardens at Glenwhan have outstanding sea views.

The perfect break to relax and restore
This 2 night break includes the enjoyment of dinner in our 3 AA Rosette restaurant, with much of the produce either from the hotel’s kitchen garden, foraged locally by our chefs from the beach and land surrounding Knockinaam and from the abundance of high quality produce available on our doorstep.
When you book this break, we will provide you with a pack which includes information about nature walks and wildlife activities that can be enjoyed nearby to Knockinaam Lodge.
