October at Knockinaam

October in Knockinaam is understated in its beauty, the subtle change of the leaves and the calm, cool air signal the onset of Autumn here in South West Scotland. Guests are invited to experience a quiet and relaxing retreat, enjoying the crisp air and the natural scenery as Autumn transforms the landscape.

Our kitchen garden continues to flourish, offering a variety of fresh produce that inspires the month’s menu. Simplicity and freshness are our focus, ensuring each dish served is a testament to the quality ingredients of the season.

October’s weather is crisp and clear, the perfect time of year for peaceful walks down by the private Cove and quiet evenings spent in the comfort of the lodge, cosied up by the fire. Join us for a special Autumn break.

What’s growing?

Guests will have the pleasure of tasting the essence of autumn through our chef’s expertly crafted dishes using our home grown produce straight from our kitchen garden. You can expect ingredients such as curly kale, cabbages, cauliflower, carrots, artichokes, tomatoes, peppers, chillis, cucamelon, cucumbers, golden raspberries and a selection of fresh herbs.
