Sample Itinerary:

Day One

Arrive & Unwind

Arrive at Knockinaam and feel the pace soften from the very first moment.

Perhaps your first wander through the grounds, a quiet walk down to the private shore, or simply a moment in the lounge with a book and the sea beyond.

As evening falls, take your place for a beautifully crafted seven-course tasting dinner.

Day Two

Explore & Discover

Wake slowly to breakfast overlooking the coast, before setting out to discover some of South West Scotland’s most beautiful gardens.

Lose yourself amongst the sweeping views of Glenwhan Gardens, the grandeur of Castle Kennedy, or the exotic coastal planting of Logan Botanic Garden.

As part of your escape, we are delighted to include complimentary entrance to one garden of your choice.

Day Three

Coastal Wandering

After a leisurely breakfast, step straight onto the coastal path and follow the shoreline towards Portpatrick.

Sea air, dramatic views, and the rhythm of the coast set the pace, with the journey itself becoming part of the experience.

Pause in the harbour for a relaxed lunch at The Crown Hotel or Port Pantry, watching the world drift by before making your way gently back to Knockinaam.

The afternoon is yours, perhaps a moment in the gardens, a quiet drink, or simply putting your feet up before dinner.

Day Four

Stay a Little Longer

This is where a longer escape begins to feel truly special.

No packing. No leaving. Just another full day to savour.

A slow breakfast. A walk along the private shoreline. A picnic packed for a hidden corner of the coast.

Perhaps Ardwell Bay, quiet, unspoilt, and a beautifully still sweeping sandy beach.

One final evening of exceptional dining awaits, before your complimentary fourth night by the sea.

Day Five

Until Next Time

One last breakfast overlooking the coast.

Depart feeling restored, refreshed, and already imagining your return.
